Supplier Relationship Manager

We’re looking for a highly motivated Supplier Relationship Manager to join our procurement team and play a critical role in driving supplier performance across our national operations.
Based in North Ryde, in this role, you will lead our supplier relationship management (SRM) program—working closely with Category Managers and key stakeholders to build strong, collaborative partnerships with suppliers. Your focus will be on enhancing supplier performance, reducing risk, improving visibility and accountability and ensuring alignment with safety, food safety and ethical sourcing standards.
Purpose of the Role
- Lead and deliver the national supplier relationship management program across services, MRO/CAPEX, logistics, and raw & packaging materials
- Develop supplier segmentation and tailored engagement strategies
- Plan and run supplier performance reviews (site, regional and national levels)
- Create and manage supplier performance dashboards and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement, accountability and value delivery from suppliers
- Manage supplier performance issues, including “hypercare” for underperforming suppliers
- Embed ethical sourcing practices, including management of SEDEX compliance
- Partner with internal teams (operations, supply chain, quality, safety, finance) to ensure alignment and outcomes
- Provide operational support and resolve supplier-related issues across the business
About You
You are a strong relationship builder with a commercial mindset and a passion for driving performance through collaboration.
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement, commercial, or operational roles within a complex/matrix environment
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and performance
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate challenging conversations and hold suppliers accountable
