The Role:

As SAP Solution Architect, you will be the strategic bridge between business needs and technology solutions. You’ll lead the design and delivery of SAP architecture across GWF, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business goals. This role demands a deep understanding of SAP modules, integration frameworks, and business processes, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, solution governance, and continuous improvement.

 

Primary Purpose of the Role

The SAP Solution Architect is responsible for managing the relationship between Business projects and the BTS teams, implementation partners and support parties.  Key aspects of the role include, but not limited, to the following:

  • Design Authority: Recommend best-fit solutions, promote standard SAP functionality, and oversee ERP integration standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate documentation and testing to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with GWF integration patterns.
  • Improvement Focus: Monitor ERP trends, resolve issues, support upgrades, and mentor team members.
  • Architecture Alignment: Ensure systems fit enterprise architecture and support business strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business needs into system designs, support project kick-off, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Governance & Flexibility: Uphold IS standards, lead small initiatives, and adapt to varied technology ideas.

About You

  • Demonstrates subject matter expertise across diverse business processes and integrations, with strong SAP application knowledge.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, solution design, implementation, consulting, and support for SAP and integration solutions.
  • Experienced in requirement gathering, gap analysis, business process transformation, testing (SIT, UAT), and end-user training.
  • Designs and governs integration landscapes using SAP PO and BTP Integration Suite, with hands-on expertise in cloud/on-premise integrations and tools like Signavio, Concur, IBP, CI-DS.
  • Proficient in SAP modules including S/4HANA, Fiori, SD, MM, FICO, HCM, and processes like OTC, P2P, EDI, IDOC, and intercompany operations.
  • Strong knowledge of data migration tools (SAP MDG, BODS), analytics (BW/BI), and methodologies including SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and ITIL.
