Are you an experienced manufacturing leader ready to lead a large-scale, fast-paced food manufacturing operation?

 

Tip Top Bakeries is seeking an exceptional Site Operations Manager to lead our Chullora site, overseeing a workforce of 300+ employees and a leadership team of 7 direct reports. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for site performance across safety, operations, food safety, maintenance, warehousing and distribution.

Purpose of the Role

  • Lead all site operations to achieve safety, quality, service and financial targets
  • Drive a positive safety culture and continue the focus on eliminating critical risks
  • Champion food safety and quality standards across the site
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of experienced operational leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement
  • Manage site budgets, productivity initiatives and capital projects
  • Partner with national supply chain and functional teams to deliver business outcomes
  • Build organisational capability and develop future leadership talent
  • Lead change initiatives while maintaining strong employee engagement

 

About You

 

You are an authentic and credible leader with a proven track record in large-scale food manufacturing environments.

 

You'll bring:

  • Significant senior operations leadership experience within FMCG food manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading large, complex manufacturing sites and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated success driving operational excellence, cultural improvement and business performance
  • Strong safety, quality and food manufacturing knowledge
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to navigate change and bring people with you
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing operational budgets
  • A genuine passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
