Sales Ordering Executive

Are you passionate about data, process improvement and driving commercial outcomes? Tip Top is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sales Ordering Executive to join our Sales Operations team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

This role is critical in supporting our Field Sales and Commercial teams by delivering accurate statistical orders, improving promotional effectiveness, and ensuring product availability across our customer network.

 

As a Sales Ordering Executive, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to manage ordering tools, analyse sales data and contribute to seasonal and new product planning. You’ll play a key role in balancing customer expectations with internal KPIs, using data to drive smarter decisions and continuous improvement.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Maintain and optimise the ordering tool to ensure reliability and accuracy
  • Leverage Excel functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and dashboard creation to analyse sales data, optimise ordering tools and support promotional and seasonal planning
  • Partner with internal teams to align orders with forecasts and promotional plans
  • Prepare statistical orders using scan data, store profiles and Tip Top data
  • Deliver reporting and insights to improve availability, reduce waste, and meet return KPIs
  • Collaborate with Sales Activation, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in FMCG or a commercial sales environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on data
  • Proficient in Excel (including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
  • Skilled in dashboard creation and data analysis to support decision-making
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with agility in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly desirable: Experience with VBA to automate reports and improve processes and exposure to Tableau/Power BI
