You will translate business requirements into practical solution designs, guide delivery teams, review vendor-delivered solutions, develop reusable architecture patterns and standards, and ensure delivered solutions can be effectively run, monitored, supported and continuously improved. This role requires strong technical expertise, a hands-on operational mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Translate business and technical requirements into fit-for-purpose BTP architecture, solution designs and decision records.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, maintainable, cost effective and operationally supportable.
  • Provide integration architecture design across SAP, non-SAP, cloud, SaaS, on-premises and external partner systems.
  • Implement and provide expert guidance across Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management, B2B/EDI and Event Mesh.
  • Support BTP platform governance, administration and day-to-day operations, including directories, subaccounts, Cloud Foundry environments, entitlements, identity services and transport management.
  • Work with support teams to resolve complex incidents, improving monitoring and alerting, strengthening support handovers and reducing recurring operational issues.
  • Conduct architecture and detailed design reviews and assess solutions for compliance, security, performance, resilience and maintainability.
  • Facilitate architecture workshops, mentor technical resources, promote reuse and collaborate with delivery teams, SAP, vendors and support partners.
  • Work on innovative solutions to meet the business requirements across the BTP platform like AI Joule, Process automation, CAP and ALM.

  • Sound understanding of transport, release and deployment processes, preferably including SAP Cloud Transport Management Service.
  • Good exposure to SAP BTP platform administration, monitoring, support practices and day-to-day operational management.
  • Experience conducting architecture reviews and providing quality assurance over vendor-delivered solutions.
  • Can-do mindset with experience working in a high-volume consumer business environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
