We are looking for an experienced Reliability Planner to join our team at our Charmhaven manufacturing site. Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of planning, scheduling and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance, shutdowns, equipment overhauls and project work.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role where you’ll work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Safety teams to minimise downtime, improve equipment performance and ensure maintenance activities are safely and effectively executed. You’ll also provide planning and coordination support during major plant breakdowns and critical operational events.
Purpose of the Role
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance, shutdowns and equipment overhauls
- Develop maintenance schedules and detailed job plans
- Manage spare parts, inventory and maintenance procurement
- Coordinate contractors, permits and maintenance activities
- Monitor equipment performance and drive reliability improvements
- Assist with capital projects and maintenance cost management
- Interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals and technical documentation
- Raise purchase orders for spare parts, contractor services and approved capital projects
- Support maintenance and production teams during major breakdowns and operational issues
- Contribute to capital planning, project execution and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical Fitter)
- Experience in maintenance planning or a similar role
- Strong understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance
- Experience managing contractors, permits and spare parts
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Confident stakeholder and communication skills.
