We’re seeking an exceptional Regional Sales Manager to lead our NSW and QLD Field Sales team. This is a rare opportunity to own and lead the commercial and execution agenda across two major states, partnering directly with Coles, Woolworths and Independents Store operation teams whilst shaping the future of field performance for one of Australia’s most iconic FMCG organisations. You’ll drive commercial outcomes, uplift execution standards and lead cultural and safety excellence across a large, dispersed workforce.

 

Reporting to the Head of Field Sales, you will lead a team of 4 direct reports and approx. 400 indirect team members across NSW and QLD.

Purpose of the Role

  • Build accountability, engagement and capability across NSW & QLD
  • Coach and empower leaders to deliver commercial and people outcomes
  • Lead change, uplift capability and embed continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive execution excellence in-store across both states
  • Partner with Commercial, Customer, Finance, Operations, Health & Safety and People & Performance to deliver shared business outcomes
  • Monitor performance trends, identify opportunities and act with pace
  • Build strong retailer relationships, influence outcomes to support long-term growth plans

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years in FMCG sales, retail or consumer goods
  • Experience leading large field teams (100–400+)
  • Resilience, agility and a coaching‑led leadership style
  • Strength in change leadership and making change “stick”
  • Passion for a safe, high‑performance team culture
  • Proven commercial acumen with execution discipline
  • Ability to influence at all levels and drive cultural change
