Key Responsibilities
The role of the People and Performance Business Partner is to strategically partner with leaders to deliver people strategies that enable high performance and align with our business objectives.
The P&P Business partner is a consultative, value-adding position embedded within the business to deliver positive business outcomes and growth through driving a high performance culture, embedding quality people practices and processes and building the people and leadership capability.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Partner with leaders to provide contemporary generalist HR support and expert advice across the employee lifecycle, including ER, coaching, engagement, organisational development, workforce planning and organisational design.
- Protect and continuously improve our culture through integrated strategies and initiatives that build leadership capability and support our unique business needs
- Partner with leaders to proactively manage the performance of their team to drive a culture of high performance and accountability while developing their people
- Monitors engagement and cultural health of the business through informal and formal checkpoints. Understands the unique factors that drive engagement and performance and works with leaders to develop engagement strategies to sustain and embed engagement and a high-performing culture
- Support the Group/BTS DEI strategy by making data based decisions, collaborating on meaningful initiatives and their tracking progress
- Supports initiatives that ensure a physically and psychologically safe workplace where everyone goes home safe, everyday
About You
- 4 + years experience within a People and Performance Business Partner role
- Relevant experience in FMCG (preferred however not essential)
- Strong agility to work through ambiguity, prioritise generalist activities from various key stakeholders within the business
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong trusted relationship with your business partners
- Demonstrated the ability to influence a range of stakeholders, including Senior Leaders
- Professional maturity to uphold a high level of integrity and confidentiality, with the courage to do the right thing (not the easy thing)
- Ability to provide insights and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issues, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience building Learning and Development programs (highly desirable however not essential)
