Maintenance Fitter

•    Charmhaven site-based
•    Monday – Friday – 2 am start

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to support the Tip Top Charmhaven Team. Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you’ll provide high-quality mechanical services to plant and equipment, playing a key role in supporting production and site operations to maximise efficiency and reduce downtime.

Purpose of the Role 
 
•    Support production and site activities to optimise productivity and minimise downtime 
•    Emergency breakdown repairs. 
•    Reporting all hazards, incidents and injuries 
•    Participating in and adhering to all HSE policies, procedures and activities in order to work safely and take reasonable care so as not to expose themselves or others to risk of injury.  
•    Services machinery and plant according to agreed schedules and work orders. 
•    Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to 

 
About You
 
The ideal candidate will have:  

•    Trade qualified Fitter 
•    3-5 years of experience working in FMCG environment is desirable 
•    Substantial post trade experience as a trade qualified Fitter 
•    Forklift licence (desirable)
•    Working at heights licence 
•    Confined spaces licence
