The Role

GWF is investing in the future of data and analytics to empower our teams with insights that drive smarter decisions. We are seeking a motivated and curious Junior Data Scientist to join our growing Advanced Analytics & BI team. This role is ideal for someone early in their data science career who is eager to learn, contribute to real-world projects, and grow their technical and business acumen.

You will support the development and maintenance of predictive models and statistical solutions that enhance business performance. Working closely with senior data scientists and business stakeholders, you’ll help translate data into actionable insights and contribute to the delivery of innovative analytics solutions.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved with:

  • Assist in designing, building, and maintaining predictive/statistical models using Python.
  • Support the implementation of generative AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards and visualisations that communicate findings clearly.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in analytics, BI and AI.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on industry experience in data science or analytics.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Familiarity with predictive modelling techniques and their business applications.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a positive approach to change.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
