About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Head of People & Performance (P&P), Operations to join our team. You’ll partner with our Operations Director and her leadership team supporting 13 sites in Australia and leading a team of regionally based P&P partners. Reporting to the P&P Director and working closely with the Operations Director, you will develop and drive the people strategy, delivering pragmatic solutions to business issues and opportunities, helping to grow our business and create a place where everyone belongs, is safe and can be their best.
Key responsibilities
- Drive People Strategy: Develop and drive the people agenda that enables our business strategy.
- Cultivate High Performance Culture: Ensure leaders coach for performance, provide responsible feedback and regular conversations
- Develop Leaders: Foster leadership that promotes inclusion, safety, wellbeing and teamwork
- Optimise Operations Structure: Ensure the structure is fit for purpose and efficient with the capability to meet business needs
- Apply People Policies Fairly: Effectively implement policies to drive performance and retention.
- Manage IR Risks: Oversee fair and commercial Enterprise Agreements and manage IR risks proactively.
- Promote Safety Culture: Drive a strong safety culture with felt safety leadership and care for people.
- Support FS&Q Strategy: Collaborate with Operational leaders and quality teams to enhance Food Safety & Quality.
About you
- 10+ Years HR Experience: Proven experience in HR generalist roles.
- Business Partnering: Experience partnering with senior leaders in a commercial and operational environment.
- People Leadership: Proven ability to develop talent and coach for performance and growth.
- Business Acumen: Curious about the business with a strong desire to influence and drive business results.
- Change Management: Experience in driving business transformation projects. Thought leader on people change
- Employee Relations Expertise: Experience leading complex employee relations and EBA strategy and navigating IR requirements nationally
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop innovative, sustainable solutions with P&P initiatives that support business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Builds trust, invests in relationships and demonstrates emotional intelligence and empathy. Understands stakeholder needs and partners collaboratively
- Organisational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to prioritise, plan and execute against the end-to-end people agenda.
- Resilience: Open to feedback, adaptable and thrives in change.
