With iconic brands, a strong values-driven culture and an unwavering commitment to keeping our people safe, we're looking for an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our team in Chullora, NSW.
Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you'll act as a trusted advisor and business partner to site leadership teams, helping to implement and continually improve health, safety and environmental initiatives across the Chullora bakery.
You'll provide practical coaching, technical expertise and strategic guidance to strengthen safety performance, reduce workplace risk and support compliance with WHS legislation and company standards. You'll also play a key role in driving our industry-leading Safety for Everyone, Everyday program and supporting injury management and return-to-work outcomes.
Purpose of the Role
- Partner with site leadership teams to embed a strong health, safety and environmental culture
- Provide practical HSE coaching, advice and support across operations
- Lead and support risk management initiatives, investigations and corrective actions
- Facilitate HSE training programs including incident management, PPE, safe handling and hazard awareness
- Monitor, analyse and report on injury, incident and workers compensation data to drive informed decision-making
- Support injury management, return-to-work programs and workers compensation processes
- Coordinate HSE audits, self-assessments and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company standards and regulatory requirements
- Support environmental compliance, reporting and sustainability initiatives
- Contribute to the ongoing success of Tip Top's Steps to Zero and Safety for Everyone, Everyday programs
About You
You are a collaborative and influential safety professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and driving meaningful change.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Diploma in Health & Safety (required)
- Min 3-5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environment role within a FMCG/manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and injury management practices
- Demonstrated experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and business partnering skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience facilitating training and influencing behavioural change
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
