This role is part of the National Operational Excellence team, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative tools and systems that drive operational excellence across our organisation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create solutions to enhance process efficiency, data accuracy, and overall performance.


Reporting to the Operational Excellence Program Manager, this role is flexible to be based at any of our bakeries across Australia and will require some travel to our sites.


Purpose of the Role
•    Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and data visualisations to support decision-making
•    Build and deploy custom Power Apps and automate workflows using Power Automate
•    Develop and execute a roadmap of systems to ensure sustainable operational benefits
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and design custom solutions
•    Lead the implementation of new systems and ensure seamless integration with existing processes
•    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of developed tools, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance
•    Provide training and support to team members on the use of newly developed systems
•    Ensure governance and optimisation of key systems (e.g., OFS, MEX, Tableau)
•    Champion a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation
•    Be visible and approachable to ensure user engagement and feedback

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have: 

•    Proven experience in building and developing operational tools and systems 
•    Technical digital experience, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing would be highly regarded
•    Proficiency in Tableau/Power BI, Power Apps, and Office 365 tools
•    Experience with systems like MEX and OFS preferable but not necessary
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills
•    A passion for coaching, mentoring, and bringing new digital skills into the business
•    A collaborative, analytical mindset with a drive for innovation and improvement
