About the Role:

The Business Systems Analyst (Projects) will collaborate with stakeholders to review payroll data accuracy and compliance.  The role requires the incumbent to hold a proactive positive attitude, strong attention to detail and an exceptional work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Assist with conducting insightful compliance payroll reviews of employee’s historical payroll data and identifying discrepancies
  • Performing data reconciliation between Time & Attendance application and Payroll application
  • Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques
  • Act as Payroll SME for payroll reviews, ensuring compliance with industrial instrument and relevant payroll tax laws
  • Provide professional, accurate and timely payroll customer service to both internal Stakeholders and Customers
  • Collaborate with key Stakeholders to inform them insights and findings
  • Demonstrate leadership in business partnering
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Other tasks as required by the Payroll team

About You

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience of maintaining payroll/T&A systems configuration
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability with the capacity to provide insight and quickly identify ways forward when presented with issues
  • Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Advanced excel skills with experience in macro writing, spreadsheet modelling, database and reporting applications
  • Strong planning & time management skills
