Key Responsibilities

 

12 Month Max Term Contract

As the Finance Business Partner - Group Planning & Reporting, you will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate internal management reporting, ABF group reporting, and statutory reporting across GWF. Acting as a key point of contact for divisional finance teams, you will support month-end, forecast and budget cycles, provide technical accounting guidance, and deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

 

  • Provide ABF group reporting for period actuals, forecasts, budgets and year-end submissions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting outcomes.
  • Manage and lead reporting and forecasting for GWF associates and corporate non-trading costs, providing insights on monthly performance against budget and forecast.
  • Support statutory reporting and the preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of GWF's business performance reporting, dashboards and presentations for ABF and senior leadership.
  • Act as the key point of contact for ABF on financial accounting and related reporting matters, building strong relationships and proactively resolving issues.
  • Prepare trend analysis and provide insights on revenues, expenditures, earnings and other key financial performance metrics.
  • Implement, maintain and enhance financial reporting systems, procedures and controls, ensuring the integrity of financial data and reporting.
  • Provide technical accounting advice, working capital analysis, ACE compliance coordination and support ad hoc analysis, projects and stakeholder requests across Group Finance.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • CA or CPA qualified with a Commerce or Accounting degree.
  • Recent experience with technical accounting issues within a reporting, audit or corporate finance environment.
  • Proven experience producing consolidated accounts, including multi-currency group consolidations.
  • Strong management reporting and financial analysis experience, supported by advanced Excel skills and exposure to large ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and actionable insights.
