Quality Assurance Business Partner

We are searching for a proactive and collaborative Quality Business Partner to join our team at our Canning Vale site on a fixed term contract. You will work closely with our Quality Manager, site leadership team and front-line operators in driving QA initiatives. 
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will also support our O’Connor site where you will be required to travel to on a weekly basis.


This role will predominantly be Mon-Fri however, will require flexibility to work on weekends, or early/late depending on business requirements.


Purpose of the Role

•    Ensure product food safety and quality standards are met
•    Working collaboratively with the site team to achieve targets and milestones in Food Safety & Quality 
•    Provide training and coaching of the site teams on Food safety and quality standards 
•    Support Internal Audit program
•    Ensure on time completion of verification activities
•    Maintain site quality management systems and general administrative duties
•    Support the QA Manager with managing onsite audits
•    Compile accurate and timely reports to site and regional management
•    Coordinate consumer complaint investigations

About You

The ideal candidate will have: 

•    Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
•    Food industry background and/or bakery industry will be highly regarded
•    Tertiary Qualification in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology
•    Highly collaborative approach with strong communication skills
•    Ability to problem solve and identify a way forward when faced with issues
•    Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
•    Able to work independently with limited supervision
