Food Safety & Quality Business Partner

At Tip Top, we're proud to bake products that Australians know and trust. We're looking for a Food Safety & Quality Business Partner to join our WA team on a 6-month fixed-term contract through to March 2027.

 

This opportunity has become available due to an internal secondment and offers the chance to step into a broad, hands-on quality role while gaining exposure to exciting projects, new production lines and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing network.

 

Reporting to the Food Safety & Quality Manager WA, you'll support our Canning Vale and O'Connor bakeries, working closely with site leaders and frontline teams to maintain quality systems, drive food safety excellence and build a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Partner with site leaders to strengthen food safety and quality culture
  • Coordinate and maintain site Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Support internal, customer and third-party audits, including corrective action management
  • Investigate food safety incidents, non-conformances and customer complaints
  • Drive GMP and continuous improvement initiatives across the bakeries
  • Manage quality records, reporting, databases and compliance documentation
  • Conduct validation, verification and quality assurance activities
  • Support HACCP, GFSI and customer certification programs
  • Deliver training and coaching on food safety and quality standards
  • Contribute to new projects, process improvements and operational initiatives across the sites

 

About You

You are a quality professional who enjoys partnering with operational teams and influencing positive outcomes. You're practical, solutions-focused and comfortable balancing compliance requirements with the realities of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance or Quality Systems
  • Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Knowledge of HACCP, Quality Management Systems and audit processes
  • Experience managing investigations, corrective actions and compliance activities
  • Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational capability
