Warehouse Supervisor (Afternoon)

Location: 

Melbourne, VIC, AU

•    Afternoon shift – Wed-Saturday: 2pm-midnight 
•    Dandenong site based

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, Tip Top Dandenong is seeking an Afternoon Warehouse Supervisor. This role will ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations during your shift and will lead a team to complete customer orders and ensure all trucks for country depots meet requirements. Your role is critical to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to OH&S policies.


Purpose of the Role
•    Lead, direct and coordinate picking, loading and delivery performance to meet service level times and budgeted resource requirements
•    Coordinate and ensure sufficient crates and dollies for production/warehouse
•    Ensure staff and vehicle deployment to ensure on time deliveries
•    Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to within warehouse and distribution.  
•    Promote continuous improvement and foster a strong culture of positive team behaviours
•    Demonstrate and encourage open effective communication with all staff and within leadership team as well as manage performance issues within your team

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have: 

•    Relevant experience managing teams in FMCG or a similar industry
•    Knowledge of GMP principles and safe work policies
•    SAP experience desired
•    Strong leadership and communication skills
•    Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Experience in process improvement and change management
