Warehouse Manager

We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team, based at our Dandenong Bakery. This role will oversee and direct our warehouse operations, that runs 24/7 through strong leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong safety leadership, optimising warehouse processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards to achieve effective and efficient day to day Warehouse operations.


Purpose of the Role
•    Manage all day-to-day Warehouse operations within your team and work closely with manufacturing and distribution teams.
•    Ensure all weekly, monthly, and annual KPI’s are meet. 
•    Ensure 3PL fleet requirements are booked in early to ensure fright departs on time.
•    All mobile plant, trucks, and trailers Preventative Maintenance is completed on time.
•    Build a strong culture of positive individuals and team behaviours and drives high levels of engagement
•    Role model the GWF behaviours, coach and proactively manage performance of the team
•    Provide the leadership, structure, resources to improve HSE and engagement to best-in-class levels
•    Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to – including reporting of food safety incidents and adherence to requirements to ensure the integrity of the product is maintained

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have: 

•    Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience managing FMCG warehouse/transport and Supply Chain activities in FMCG environment
•    Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
•    Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
•    Resilience and ability to quickly engage with change in a dynamic environment
•    Reliable and punctual with great time management in an extremely busy and demanding industry.
