Tip Top Bakeries is currently seeking applications for a Team Leader, based at our Dandenong site, Rolls Department. Reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Available Shift Patterns:

• 1st Shift Role Production - 1:00am to 9:00am (6 Week Rotating Roster).
• Sunday - Thursday (5:00pm - 1:00am) (Set Roster).

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Baker or FMCG experience preferred.
• Manages the performance of both self and others.
• Team building and management skills.
• Flexibility & adaptability and a learning orientation.
• Good communicator with a genuine collaborative approach.
• Encourages and supports the team at all times.
• At least Year 11 Maths and English.
• SAP experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint).

Purpose of the Role

The tasks of this role include:

• Ensuring all staff are adhering to manual handling rules, GMP, GWF Policies.
• Assist the Production Supervisors in ensuring effective use of staff labour, time & resources.
• Run Tier 1 meetings daily with your teams.
• Managing and covering breaks of team members.
• Work collaboratively with the Production Supervisors to manage staff issues, time keeping and absenteeism.
• Creating an environment and culture of continuous improvement through communication & process improvement.
• Assisting the Production Supervisor with collaborative and engaging weekly team meetings, by attending all team meetings and ensuring team members attend the team meetings.
• Performing basic induction for new employees on respective shift.
