Inventory Controller

Tip Top is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our team. Reporting to the Stores & Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management, and optimising inventory processes. This role is hands on and requires you to be on the warehouse floor with responsibility of unloading products (forklift) and putaways.
Purpose of the Role
- Maintain high inventory accuracy levels through ensuring cycle counting is completed and investigation and adjustments are made
- Creating purchase orders through SAP
- Ensure key inventory reports are produced/received daily and analysed
- Maintain excellent standards of recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets, claims/resolutions, out of stock information
- Unloading (forklift) and racking away all ingredients and packing for the site in a timely manner
- General housekeeping as required
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years’ experience in purchasing/inventory in manufacturing or FMCG is desirable
- Valid Forklift License
- SAP (ordering) experience or similar systems experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills - required to make quick decisions, and put clear actions in place to proactively address problems daily
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
