Hygiene & Site Services Supervisor

As the Hygiene & Site Services Supervisor, you will lead and direct all activities associated with hygiene and site services at our Dandenong location. This hands-on role involves leading a team to ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency.


Roster: Tuesday – Saturday: 2pm-10pm (may require some flexibility to workday shift to cover)


Purpose of the Role
•    Manage and coordinate hygiene and sanitisation activities across the site
•    Champion health and safety requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislation
•    Oversee site services including pest control, chemical management, QA programs, and employee uniforms
•    Manage site-related repairs and maintenance for buildings, environment, and grounds
•    Foster a high-performance culture through effective leadership and communication
•    Promote continuous improvement in products, processes, and systems
•    Ensure financial performance meets budgeted controllable costs
•    Liaise professionally with internal and external customers and stakeholders
•    Demonstrate inclusive and constructive leadership to build a culture where people act like owners to deliver business goals 
•    Undertake performance management activities including conducting disciplinary investigations, records of interviews and formal disciplinary matters

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have: 
•    2+ years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
•    Strong understanding of GMP principles and a high safety culture
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skill.
•    Ability to influence and engage with all levels of stakeholders
