Tip Top, a division of George Weston Foods (GWF), is seeking a proactive and collaborative Production Planner – Chilled & Frozen to join our dynamic Supply Planning team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
As the Production Planner – Chilled & Frozen, you’ll support the Regional and National Supply Planning Managers to develop short-term production plans across multiple sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth supply to customers by collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams.
Purpose of the Role
- Develop and manage short-term production schedules for chilled and frozen products across multiple sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate supply and customer satisfaction
- Lead weekly planning meetings and respond to supply challenges with effective solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in key supply chain projects
- Facilitate weekly planning meetings and ensure labour execution aligns with production plans
- Coordinate research activities to reconcile forecast variances and refine plans based on updated sales and marketing assumptions
- Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to support demand fluctuations
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Supply Chain disciplines (Demand, Supply, Logistics or Analysis)
- FMCG industry knowledge and exposure to SAP or major ERP systems
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
