At Tip Top, we're passionate about creating great workplaces where our people can thrive. We're looking for a seasoned People & Performance Advisor to join our Chilled & Frozen Operations team, supporting leaders and employees across our Ermington and Charmhaven sites. Travel to Charmhaven will be required at least fortnightly.
Reporting to the Regional P&P Manager, you'll play an important role in delivering day-to-day HR support across a busy manufacturing environment. Working closely with site leaders, you'll provide advice on people processes, support employee relations matters, coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, and help deliver key people initiatives across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to broaden their experience across employee relations, HR systems, recruitment, training and workforce support while building their career within a collaborative and supportive People & Performance team.
Purpose of the Role
- Provide practical HR advice and guidance to leaders on policies, procedures and Enterprise Agreements
- Support employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and workplace concerns
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities across multiple sites
- Prepare employment documentation, including contracts, variations and employee correspondence
- Maintain employee records and provide support across our HRIS system
- Deliver induction programs and coordinate learning and development activities
- Compile workforce reporting and support compliance, audit and people initiatives
- Coordinate employee engagement, recognition activities and site-based events
- Build effective relationships with leaders to support a positive, safe and high-performing culture
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a HR role
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Experience working with HR systems and employee administration
- Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy environment
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, construction or other operational environments
- Exposure to Enterprise Agreements, employee relations or industrial relations would be highly regarded
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
