Warehouse Supervisor

Purpose of the Role

 

We are looking for our next Warehouse Supervisor for our Springwood site. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing, leading and co-ordinating activities associated with the timely and safe dispatch of all products in accordance with GWF policies and procedures.

 

The Warehouse Supervisor will develop and lead a highly motivated team who accept ownership for the provision of high-quality outputs, working together in a cooperative and supportive manner.

 

Responsibilities

 

•        Coordinate with production and distribution teams to ensure timely product availability and accurate load preparation.

•        Monitor vendor schedules and verify product specifications and quantities from all suppliers.

•        Manage basket and dolly inventory, including stocktakes, recovery, and ordering as required.

•        Lead and develop the team through clear communication, regular meetings, and performance management.

•        Maintain rosters, control Labor costs, and ensure accurate processing of time cards and system updates.

•        Enforce food safety, legality, and quality standards, reporting and addressing non-conforming products promptly.

•        Drive health and safety compliance and continuous improvement to maintain a safe and risk-controlled workplace.

About You

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

•        Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Supervisor

•        Thorough knowledge of supply chain network

•        Experience working in a similar industry or environment

•        Experience in leading or managing others

•        Through knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle safety

•        Understands the importance of engagement, legalities and costs of supply chain network
