Tug Driver (Springwood)

Are you a HR licensed driver looking for stability, local work and a clear pathway to HC?

We’re offering opportunities for HR drivers who want consistent hours, variety in their day and long‑term development.

This position focuses on yard movements and short local transfers, with a supported plan to upgrade your licence to HC (fully funded by us). This is a hands‑on role. Between driving tasks, you’ll support dock and load preparation suitable for drivers who prefer an active shift rather than being in a cab all day.

Role Highlights:

• Local driving only – yard movements and nearby depots
• Home every day – no long haul or nights away
• Paid HC licence upgrade with structured development
• Variety in your day – driving, trailer setup, assist warehouse picking and dock readiness

What You'll Be Doing:

• Moving trailers safely around site and to nearby depots
• Positioning trailers at docks and supporting site logistics
• Assisting with load readiness, pre‑dispatch checks and paperwork
• Working closely with warehouse and distribution teams to keep freight moving
• Following Chain of Responsibility (COR), safety and quality requirements

What You'll Need

• HR truck licence (held for approx. 12 months or close to)
• Confident operating trucks in busy site environments
• Willingness to work hands‑on between driving tasks
• Strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic
• Previous yard, local, or FMCG experience (advantage, not essential)

Please note: This is not a full‑time driving role. It is a multi‑skilled logistics position designed to build capability across warehouse and distribution operations.
