An exciting opportunity exists for a Reliability Electrician to support the Tip Top Springwood Reliability Team. Reporting to the Reliability Electrical Supervisor you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Respond to electrical breakdowns and perform fault finding in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Service and maintain machinery according to schedules and work orders
  • Ensure compliance with GWF’s Health & Safety policies and food safety standards
  • Collaborate with production teams and the reliability team to resolve plant issues
  • Support contractor management and uphold safety protocols.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to maintaining high product quality
  • Ensure the correct operation of machines and minimise downtime, including reactive breakdowns and scheduled preventative maintenance

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • PLC Programming and Fault Finding Skills
  • Experience in an FMCG industry will be highly regarded
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Working at Heights licence, EWP desirable but not essential
  • Exposure in MEX computerised maintenance management system will be advantageous
  • A team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
