We are seeking a Regional Operations Excellence Manager to drive transformative improvement across our North‑East Operations (NSW & QLD).
Based at our Springwood or Carrara, QLD site this role you will lead continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and cultural uplift across multiple manufacturing sites. You’ll partner with site leaders, technical teams, HSE, and cross‑functional stakeholders to build a strong pipeline of improvement initiatives (both capital and non‑capital) and elevate performance across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operations, engineering, or CI professional who excels at influencing, coaching, and driving change in complex, multi‑site FMCG environments.
Purpose of the Role
- Lead and manage the regional Continuous Improvement pipeline (capital and non‑capital projects)
- Drive improvements in OEE, labour utilisation, process efficiency and waste reduction
- Coach and develop teams to build operational capability and engagement
- Champion HSE leadership and ensure compliance
- Provide accurate and timely operational reporting and insights
- Lead projects with Technical, Maintenance and Manufacturing teams
- Support NPD trials and launch readiness
- Drive cultural change and embed consistent operating standards across sites
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing or similar high‑volume operations
- Strong experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or OE methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proven ability to influence, engage and coach stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced computer and data analysis skills
- Experience leading cultural or operational change across multi‑site environments
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or similar
