Are you passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement? Our Tip Top Springwood site is looking for a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team and lead by example. Reporting to the Production Manager this role will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Purpose of the Role
• Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, along with high support and high challenge
• Consistently provide open and honest, candid feedback ‘in the moment’, recognising people for doing great work, and addressing performance issues early
• Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
• Collaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary amendments to the production plan
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment that does not tolerate unsafe behaviour or acts
• Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to
• Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• Min 2+ years in a Supervisory or leadership role
• FMCG or other fast paced production/manufacturing experience would be highly regarded
• Proven leadership skills
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Extensive problem-solving skills and ability to identify a way forward when presented with issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
