Tip Top Bakeries are looking for an experienced People & Performance (HR) Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term contract through to March 2027. This is a true partnering role supporting our Springwood site and National Supply Chain team, helping to drive strong people outcomes in a fast-paced operational environment.

 

This is a site-based position, working closely with leaders and employees on the ground to deliver hands-on HR support and drive impact where it matters most.

 

As a trusted advisor, you’ll work closely with leaders to build capability, lift performance and support key initiatives that contribute to a high-performing, engaged workforce.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Partner with leaders to deliver practical, value-add HR solutions aligned to business priorities
  • Coach leaders to strengthen performance management practices, including goal setting, development planning and managing underperformance
  • Drive talent, succession and leadership capability initiatives
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations and industrial relations matters, including union engagement and EBA processes
  • Support engagement and culture initiatives to foster a positive, high-performing workplace
  • Partner with Operations on change initiatives, ensuring effective change management and communication
  • Provide guidance on remuneration, workforce planning and labour optimisation
  • Promote and support strong health, safety and compliance practices

 

About You

You’re a confident and commercially minded HR professional who thrives in operational environments and enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role, ideally within manufacturing, operations or supply chain
  • Strong employee and industrial relations experience
  • The ability to influence, coach and challenge leaders effectively
  • Experience driving change, engagement and capability uplift initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong organisational capability
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Business or similar
