Electrical Supervisor

Reporting to the Reliability Manager, we are currently seeking a Reliability (Electrical) Supervisor based at our Springwood site. Working hours will be Monday – Friday, day shift hours.


As the Reliability Supervisor (Electrical), you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering and maintenance tasks to ensure minimal equipment downtime and maximum resource utilization. You will drive engagement, continuous improvement, and development within the reliability team. 


Purpose of the Role
•    Drive performance, accountability and engagement within the Electrical Team with a key focus on building capability
•    In conjunction with the leadership team, continuously review systems and processes to improve key operational efficiency measures.
•    Support production and site activities to problem solve and achieve maximum plant utilisation to effectively carry out planned proactive reliability activities and minimise downtime
•    Supervise trades and allocate work orders to optimise resources
•    Identify and drive efficiency improvements and cost reductions in repairs and maintenance
•    Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
•    Conduct routine reliability walks and ensure accurate machine downtime entries
•    Identify and actively promote continuous improvement and machine development within the machine reliability function
•    Promote and lead the utilisation of the computer maintenance system (MEX) to schedule, plan and document all activities in the Reliability department


About You

The ideal candidate will have: 
•    Min 3- 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role in a FMCG food environment will be highly regarded
•    Electrical trades qualified
•    Working knowledge of SCADA/Allen Bradley/PLC (required)
•    Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
•    Highly organised, able to think strategically as well as problem solve
•    Strong ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
•    Strong adherence to focus on safety (food safety and people safety)
