We are currently seeking a highly capable and driven Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead our Dry Creek warehouse operations. This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned leader to drive cultural transformation, uplift team engagement and deliver operational excellence.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will lead day-to-day warehouse & distribution operations while creating a safe, inclusive and high-energy environment. Your ability to connect with people, build trust, and drive accountability will be key to unlocking the team’s full potential.

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Lead and coach, building engagement and ownership from the ground up
  • Champion a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement
  • Drive cultural and behavioural change to improve team engagement and accountability
  • Empower team members through coaching, feedback, and development planning
  • Oversee warehouse operations including SAP transactions and manual handling equipment and fleet management
  • Collaborate with planning, production and operations teams to meet service levels
  • Manage labour costs, rosters, and training to align with budget and operational needs
  • Maintain product quality and food safety standards (HACCP, SQF, WQA)
  • Deliver on KPIs and performance goals across safety, quality and service

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership experience within a FMCG warehouse environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading cultural change and improving team engagement
  • Proven ability to coach and empower individuals to achieve their potential
  • Deep understanding of safety, compliance and food quality standards
  • Exposure and understanding of lean processes and focus on continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in SAP will be desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
