Quality Assurance Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager for our Dry Creek site. Reporting to the Regional Quality Manager, this standalone quality role will provide leadership, coaching, and compliance of the site Quality Management System to national standards, policies, and procedures. 
The successful candidate will support the site leader and their teams in continuous improvement initiatives and site food safety quality culture.


Purpose of the Role
•    Lead and provide clear direction to site teams to drive Food Safety & Quality culture and ensure food safety and quality standards are met
•    Proactively engage with the operations team to influence and achieve targets and milestones in Food Safety & Quality
•    Lead investigations, risk assessments for Food Safety Incident reports/Customer Complaint investigations
•    Provide leadership, coaching and development to the site teams
•    Leading and completion of audits (BRC, YUM, etc)
•    Provide accurate and timely reports to sites and regional leadership team

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have: 

•    Minimum 3-5 years in a senior position within the food manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical industry 
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with proven capability to provide feedback to stakeholders while maintaining positive relationships
•    A tertiary qualification in food science or related discipline
•    Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issues
•    A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to communicate exceptionally well at all levels
