An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance Fitter to support the Tip Top Dry Creek Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Reliability Manager you will be responsible for ensuring high quality maintenance services are provided to plant and equipment.
Roster: This will be a Full Time role on a rotating shift of 4 days on / 4 days off. This will comprise of 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts followed by 4 days off.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the role of the Maintenance Fitter Position is to assist with:
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks
- Fabrication, welding and machining tasks
- Pneumatic fault diagnosis
- Involvement reliability projects
- Involvement in continuous improvement teams
- Intermediate control system process and fault diagnosis
- System data entry
The ideal candidate will have:
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (essential)
- Relevant post trade courses
- 3 - 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (Food Industry experience preferred)
- Fabrication and machining skills is desriable
- Intermediate pneumatics / hydraulics skills
- Computer literate.
- Automation experience will be advantageous
- Sound decision making skills
