Tip Top Bakeries is currently seeking applications for a Maintenance Electrician, based at our Dry Creek site. Reporting to the Reliability Manager you will be responsible for ensuring high quality maintenance services are provided to plant and equipment.

 

Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of the role of the Maintenance Electrician position is to:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection through computerised maintenance systems.
  • Manage electrical breakdown repairs and carrying out repairs in a safe manner.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with plant and machinery that may be mechanical or electrical in nature.
  • Ensure the correct operation of machines and minimise downtime, including reactive breakdowns and scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure adequate spare parts are kept on site.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Australian electrical trade qualified with current electrical license.
  • Electrical background with proven experience in an FMCG industry will be highly regarded.
  • Solid PLC, SCADA, HMI experience preferable.
  • Software experience using Siemens & Rockwell preferable.
  • Exposure in MEX computerised maintenance management system.
